International Missions
in an Intercessor's heart there is a desire to pray for missions. Below you will find some of our favorite indigenous missions and evangelistic works. Except for our contacts in Israel the most urgent personal prayer needs are for their children's education, health, food, safety, and transportation. Evangelism is in their DNA, many of them are pressing into areas of their countries with the Gospel where no man has preached before. Territories are being shifted as anti Christian radical religious leaders are coming to know Christ. Its and honor to pray for men and women like these.

Pastor & Evangelist John Babu
Uganda

The following report is from our dear Bishop John Babu from Arua, Uganda who recently returned home after holding an evangelistic crusade in Sudan. His evangelistic team ministered in Wanjok, Sudan from May 27-30.
“Greetings in the matchless Name of Jesus, I pray you are doing well. This letter is to thank everyone who took their time to pray for our mission to Sudan. Praise God the mission trip was very successful and thousands of souls were won to Christ. There were many signs and wonders following with great revival taking place by the power of God. Please give my appreciation and thanks to all of our friends for their support both spiritually and financially. Many people received the Word of God and repented of their witchcraft practices and over 15,000 souls were won to Christ. The Lord opened the eyes of more than ten blind people and five people who could not walk were made well. There were also numerous healings of other diseases during the four nights of the crusade.”

Pastor Zachary Thuu
Wau, Sudan
Wau, Sudan

Pastor Zachary Thuu from Kenya has heard God’s call to minister to the people of Sudan. There he works to establish Sudan's first generation church in the Gospel. There is an urgent need for Bible teachers and ministers.
Recently he relayed this testimony of God working through a new convert. He said, “A young lady who was Holy-Spirit filled two weeks ago caused a stir in the congregation. The Lord is using her in the Word of knowledge, leading many to fear the Lord and change their evil communication. In a church where spiritual gifts are not operational, you can easily understand why many accused her of being demon possessed. But, aligning her message with the scriptures of people to repent and turn to the living God,,,, there is hardly any doubt that the Lord is working thru her.”
Pastor Thuu reports that the churches are filling with new believers and that it concerns him deeply for their spiritual growth. He knows they need nurturing from godly examples. He has been pasturing four churches and called another minister from Kenya to help. They are ministering in outreaches, evening meetings, revival prayers and Bible studies. The church in Wau needs prayer for there existing young Christians who are becoming leaders and for ministers who are grounded in the Word and in their life testimony to come to Wau to train the young churches there. Please pray for the provision of finances for Pastor Thuu to continue his work in Sudan.

Pastor Zachary Thuu is a Kenyan minister that has obeyed the call of God to pastor several churches in Sudan. This past year when Bishop John Babu from Uganda held meetings in several cities in Sudan, Pastor Thuu took the responsibility to watch over the new churches that were planted.
In Wau, a state in Southern Sudan, the Gospel is now taking root. Many people are committing their lives to Jesus Christ. Pastor Thuu recently visited several locations in Wau preaching the Gospel. After the villages viewed the Jesus film, souls were converted and Christians were encouraged. This film has been a great tool in winning souls to Christ.
Child evangelism ministry was also held in Wau. Along with ministry games were played and soup was served to fifty-eight children. Since they have no building in which to meet, they met under some mango trees, which is often done in Africa.
During one of the children’s meetings, two soldiers passing by stopped to hear the Gospel message given simply enough for the children to understand. While still in their uniforms and armed with their guns they gave their lives to Christ. Then Pastor Thuu gave them Bibles in their own Dinka language. Pastor Thuu reports, “They went away born-again and better soldiers.”
Recently Pastor Thuu held a twenty-one day Revival at Wau Pentecost Church. Testimonies included restoration of husband and wife relationships, healings, and financial breakthroughs.
Pastor Thuu also reported they had strong prayer against a spirit of witchcraft which has had deep roots among the residents of that village. Pastor Thuu reported, “After prayer the chief wizard vanished and to date, no one knows her whereabouts. The church in Wau knows they are in spiritual warfare.
There were also some dishonest men who were trying to cheat Pastor Thuu over some church land. They made the mistake of announcing their plans and when word reached the authorities. After investigating the officials discovered these dishonest men were not the legal owners. The men were arrested and are in prison.
Last week during the revival, believers were filled with the Holy Spirit and there was fullness of Joy. Pastor Thuu baptized twelve souls in the Jur River. Pastor Thuu sends his greetings with these words, “I bear record that God is doing marvelous things in our midst and the church is really doing well in Sudan.”

Evangelist David & Josie Silver
Mt. Carmel, Israel

SHALOM in the Name of YESHUA. We are a Messianic Jewish family originally from Auckland, New Zealand. – my wife Josie, and our two sons, Stefan age 28 & Jordan age 24. In August 2008 the family grew as Stefan married Keren, a worship leader and songwriter from Jerusalem. And then in 2011 our delightful grandaughter Avigail was born. Oh I forgot about Cadbury, our Persian cat
HOW WE CAME TO FAITH
Josie was brought up in a Christian home and she recommitted her life to the Lord in 1986 and after praying for me for the next year, I was radically saved in 1987. In secular life I was a salesman, a gifting which equates to an evangelist in the Kingdom. From the first day I received the Lord, I have had a natural unction to share the Gospel. Josie is a committed intercessor and prayer warrior.
We believe the full Gospel according to the Old and New Testaments and that YESHUA (Jesus) is the Messiah of both Jew and Gentile. We also believe that God’s Covenant with the Jewish people is eternal and that it is central to His end-time plan that the Jewish people return to their ancient homeland in these days, in preparation for their national Salvation. Then they will finally fulfill their calling to be ‘a Kingdom of Priests, a Holy nation’. (Ex 19:6, Is 11:11-12, Rom 11:26 & 29). When the restoration of Israel is complete, then Yeshua will return to re-establish the Kingdom of God in the Earth – in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the nation of Israel.
WHY WE MOVED TO ISRAEL:
We had visited Israel twice as tourists, but were quite comfortable and happy living a safe Christian lifestyle in the peace and prosperity New Zealand offered. Late 1991 God spoke to me seven times in one week, calling us to come to Israel. The scriptures He led me to were 1 Kings 17:2-3 and Zechariah 2:7. I told Josie and He then confirmed His Word to her by way of a vision, in conjunction with the song, ‘Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord’. (Isaiah 2:3).
In obedience we initiated the paperwork with the Auckland synagogue and by August 1992 we were in a new immigrant absorption centre in Haifa. After living in very basic conditions for seven months while learning Hebrew, God led us to rent an apartment on Mt Carmel. For the next 3 years, we fellowshipped at Carmel Assembly with many other new immigrant families. They had also been called in similar ways, to be part of a growing remnant of believers in YESHUA returning to the land of our forefathers. We believe it is God’s will that Messianic Jews return to live in Israel, as well as secular and religious Jews.
OUR LIFE IN ISRAEL:
In 1994 David opened a small business detailing cars. The first few years were extremely difficult as the Israeli market place was so different to New Zealand – in every way. After 5 years the business was going well, with Salvatore, an Arab Christian brother, working with David. Once the Lord led us to move into ministry, David handed left most of the car detailing work behind
Israel is a very difficult place to make it financially, but we believe our business was an example to others, both believers and non-believers, that in spite of the often talked about “giants in the Land” that really do exist and do their best to break you mentally and spiritually, it is possible to make it, righteously, in Israel.
This work gave David incredible opportunities to share the Lord with people as he worked on their cars. One of his first customers, Paul Sherbow, came to the Lord and now ministers to many people through an internet based radio & TV station.
Josie assists David in the administration ministry work of Out of Zion. She also travel with him on some his trips. But she also heads up an email based international intercession network, INTERCESSORS FOR THE RESTORATION OF ISRAEL (I.R.I.) Intercessors For Israel This network focuses on praying in the things that will bring about the full restoration of Israel, thus hastening the coming of the Messiah and bringing real peace to Israel and the World! and is currently involved in an intercessory watch up on Mt. Carmel.
STEFAN & JORDAN
Our two sons have grown up in Israel. They attended regular Israeli schools and at age 18, they went into the Israeli army, both serving in combat units. Stefan reached the rank of deputy company commander and was involved in the 2nd Lebanon War of 2006. Jordan rose to the rank of platoon commander, and was involved in the Gaza War in January 2009. They are both now finished their compulsory army service. (PTL !!!)
Stefan and Keren were married in August 2008. They live close by on the slopes of Mt Carmel and now have a beautiful little daughter Avigail (which means ‘joy of my ftaher’ in Hebrew) Stefan & Keren serve in full time ministry with Or B’Aretz (Light to the Nation) which is the Israeli ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Stefan regularly gives the message at the new Hebrew speaking congregation they both attend on Mt.Carmel. Keren is a very gifted worship leader and songwriter, and we are encouraging her to produce a CD. (clik here to listen to Keren’s song Kadosh Ata)
HOW CAN YOU BE PART OF WHAT GOD IS DOING ?
We are seeking out those who would stand with us in our work in Israel and in our ministry to the nations. We need much prayer support for our well-being and for the effectiveness of our ministry. We are always thankful for practical support as well. This releases us to spend more time on Kingdom business, rather than on secular work. We need your support to be co-laborers in the Harvest.
Will you pray for the Lord’s guidance as to how you can be co-workers with Him and us, in this most important mission-field? The Restoration of Israel will bring about the coming of the Lord. (Acts 3:19-21)
Numbers 6:24-26:
The LORD bless you, and keep you,
The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you,
The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Pastors in India
We do not reveal the identity of pastors and Christians in India. In some areas they are in danger of persecution. Please help us pray for these ministers and the people they are helping.

One pastor in north India continues to persevere as he pastors near New Delhi. Besides having a pastor's heart and growing apostolic vision he has a strong teaching gift. He teaches the Word of God with clarity and anointing from his life of total surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is a graduate of Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.
Besides pastoring his church, he and his wife run a school of 608 students that accepts the poor, Muslims, Hindus, Christians, and any child who wants to learn. He is enabling the children in his area to be empowered to obtain an education and to prosper. The "Good News" of Jesus Christ is heralded each day throughout the school beginning with opening prayer and Bible reading. The poor parents are so grateful for the opportunity they are providing! After a recent fast, fourteen new converts were baptized, including his sixteen year old son.
In their Tailoring School, twenty-four of thirty-nine women graduated, enabling the women to become productive and have the power to prosper. This pastor has been able to donate ten sewing machines to many of the graduates.
In addition, he teaches Character Development Seminars for native pastors and other believers who gather to hear the Word of God. In one of these seminars, 150 students between the ages of twelve and fifteen attended.
